Das hat Martin f\u00fcr uns ausgesucht als Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck zum Essen. Sie sieht super aus, ganz viel Pop Art an den W\u00e4nden, wei\u00dfe St\u00fchle, Schwarzes Interior, super nette Serverin und am Nebentisch zwei Jungs, die f\u00fcr jeden Bissen 7 Stunden brauchen, weil sie wahrscheinlich von gestern Abend komplett \u00fcbrig geblieben sind.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Einer der beiden ist asiatischer Herkunft, das Spiegelei. Tischmanieren wie in Asien \u00fcblich, yuck \ud83e\udd22<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Martin: French Toast, ich Ricotta Lemon Pancakes, aber ich muss sagen, die kann nur einer richtig gut, und das ist in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.friedmansrestaurant.com\/west-end-menus\/\">Friedman&#8217;s<\/a> in New York. They have the best!!!!!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Die Portionen sind riesig und ich schaffe nur einen Pancake. Stationen und wollen dann mit dem Bus weiterfahren. Ziel: Der Mont Real. Der Ausblick auf die Stadt.<\/p><p>Im Shopping Center (LCMR) ist noch nichts los, die Gesch\u00e4fte \u00f6ffnen erst um elf. Unser Bus soll 15 Minuten sp\u00e4ter fahren und ich suche hier eine Toilette, es ist spooky, so komische G\u00e4nge \ud83d\ude33\u2026 ich \u00fcberhole einen weiblichen Junkie, die sp\u00e4ter am Waschbecken steht. Mit langsamen, fahrigen Bewegungen betrachtet sie ihren Hals, ich denke, die setzt sich jetzt einen Schuss, aber schlimmer: der Hals ist knallrot, \u00fcbers\u00e4t mit ganz dicken, riesengro\u00dfe Beulen\u2026\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab! Ich \u00fcberlege ganz kurz, ob ich H\u00e4nde waschen einmal auslassen soll, aber das kann ich auch nicht. Dann machen wir halt noch eben ein paar Bilder und gehen dann zu Fu\u00df weiter, der Bus ist eh weg. Ich bin ein bisschen \u00fcberfordert, komisch hier, kaum Leute, keine Busse, alles merkw\u00fcrdig leer f\u00fcr eine Gro\u00dfstadt.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> Ob das noch an Corona H\u00e4tten sonst nur Gegenlicht gehabt. \u00dcber den Dorchester Square und Place du Canada \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde6 gehen wir zur U-Bahn, Ziel ist die ber\u00fchmte Basilica du Notre-Dame in der Altstadt Montr\u00e9al. Zum Fotografieren steht das Licht \u00e4u\u00dferst ung\u00fcnstig, aber hier geht\u2018s auch mehr um die inneren Werte. Die Schlange ist nicht so besonders lang und wir stellen uns an.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Was f\u00fcr eine Pracht! Eine wundersch\u00f6ner Dom!!!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> Basilique Notre Dame, eine r\u00f6misch-katholische Kirche im neugotischen Stil, zwischen 1824 und 1829 erbaut.<\/span><\/p><p>Ich m\u00f6chte eine Kerze anz\u00fcnden, aber nicht unbedingt zehn Euro daf\u00fcr ausgeben. Die kleinen Kerzen kosten nur zwei Euro, m\u00fcssen aber bar bezahlt werden, die gro\u00dfen mit Kreditkarte. Bargeld haben wir leider nicht. Eigentlich haben wir gar kein Geld mehr. umsteigen. Beim Umstieg irren wir rum, finden eine Haltestelle in Maps aber nicht im real life. Bleiben dann an einer Stelle stehen, die es sein m\u00fcsste,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>k\u00f6nnen aber irgendwie den franz\u00f6sischen Zettel nicht lesen. Wir r\u00e4tseln rum\u2026<\/p><p>Und das, was wir lesen k\u00f6nnen, verstehen wir falsch, also muss ich meinen ganzen Mut zusammen nehmen und einen Rastaman auf Franz\u00f6sisch ansprechen. Der war total nett und hat uns gesagt, dass auf dem Zettel steht, dass das hier nur eine Behelfshaltestelle ist und der Bus hier auf jeden Fall h\u00e4lt.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Jetzt verstehen wir auch dass es temporaire hei\u00dft. Wenn man es wei\u00df sieht man es auch. Trotzdem stimmt nichtmal meine \u00dcbersetzung von Arret \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 und dann kommt auch der Bus. Wir steigen ein und sofort springt jemand f\u00fcr mich auf und bietet mir seinen Platz an! Woran hattet gelegen fragt man sich???? Am Alter, der Behinderung? Jetzt ist es also weit!!<\/p><p>Zusammen mit vielen anderen Menschen machen wir uns dann auf den letzten Weg zum Aussichtspunkt \u00fcber Montreal. Sp\u00e4ter sto\u00dfen wir noch ein paarmal mit diesem jungen Mann aus Indien zusammen und f\u00fchren noch eine nette Unterhaltung mit ihm. Ich bedanke mich nochmal f\u00fcr\u2018s Aufstehen \ud83d\udd96<\/p><p>Und da ist er also, der Ausblick auf Montr\u00e9al\u2026 so viele Bilder habe ich vorher gesehen. Man blickt vom Mont Real \u00fcber die ganze Stadt. Wirklich sch\u00f6n, auch ohne bunte Bl\u00e4tter \ud83c\udf41<span Wir warten auf die 11. Martin findet aber eine bessere Verbindung, mit der wir durch den ganzen Park fahren und dann mit der Orangen U-Bahn Linie zur\u00fcck in die Altstadt kommen. Ich will aber erst nicht, Martin versteht die Welt nicht mehr und ich bin genervt. Wir gehen also auf die andere Stra\u00dfenseite und warten wieder. Dann kommt die 11 und wir steigen ein. Wir fahren und fahren, und Martin sagt irgendwann: wir sind falsch. Und will auch am liebsten sofort aussteigen, mitten in einem Gebiet was aussieht wie die Bronx. Aber ohne mich. Ich habe gesagt, wir bleiben jetzt hier drin sitzen und fahren wieder mit zur\u00fcck. Frage den Busfahrer, er antwortet keine Silbe!!!! Nehme ich als jetzt einfach mal als Zustimmung. Und so landen wir dann schlie\u00dflich endlich an der richtigen Haltestelle, inmitten einer gesch\u00e4ftigen Einkaufsstra\u00dfe mit vielen Lokalen und vielen bunten Murals an der Wand. Wir steigen hier aus und um. Wieder 1000 Stufen runter zur U-Bahn, ich kann nicht mehr \u2639\ufe0f. Beim Ausstieg nehmen wir den Aufzug!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8f69adf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8f69adf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Und doch sind es wieder viele Stufen \ud83e\ude9c um zur Altstadt zu kommen. Wir sind zur besten Sonnenuntergangszeit dort und m\u00f6chten mit dem Riesenrad im alten Hafen fahren.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Und was f\u00fcr ein Sonnenuntergang! Drei Runden haben wir Zeit f\u00fcr diesen \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigenden Abschluss des Tages. Dann gehen wir noch was essen, im Bevo, Italienisch. Pizza und Pasta vom Feinsten! Sehr lecker. Ich kann allerdings nicht mehr zur\u00fcck zum Hotel laufen, f\u00fcr mich gibt es heute nur noch Uber. Ich brauch erst mal ein paar Ibos. Nach zw\u00f6lf Tagen im Auto sitzen bin ich einfach v\u00f6llig fertig, mir tut der R\u00fccken ohne Ende weh. genossen, in dem ich eigentlich permanent die Uhr tragen m\u00fcsste um meine Schritte zu tracken. W\u00fcrde sich hier lohnen. \u00a0 Duschen mit Haare, der Bad Hair Day hat ein Ende. Heute packen wir keine Koffer, sondern nur unsere Fototasche und gehen zu Eggspectation. Das hat Martin f\u00fcr uns ausgesucht als Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck zum Essen. Sie sieht super aus, ganz viel Pop Art an den W\u00e4nden, wei\u00dfe St\u00fchle, Schwarzes Interior, super nette Serverin und am Nebentisch zwei Jungs, die f\u00fcr jeden Bissen 7 Stunden brauchen, weil sie wahrscheinlich von gestern Abend komplett \u00fcbrig geblieben sind.&nbsp; Einer der beiden ist asiatischer Herkunft, das Spiegelei. Tischmanieren wie in Asien \u00fcblich, yuck \ud83e\udd22&nbsp; Martin: French Toast, ich Ricotta Lemon Pancakes, aber ich muss sagen, die kann nur einer richtig gut, und das ist in Friedman&#8217;s in New York. They have the best!!!!!&nbsp; Die Portionen sind riesig und ich schaffe nur einen Pancake. Eine Box n\u00fctzt aber nichts, wir sind ja nicht im Auto unterwegs. Bestes Wetter Eggspactation Das Spiegelei :) Lemon Ricotta Pancakes French Toast An der Station Beaux Arts \ud83c\udfad steigen wir in die U-Bahn, fahren zwei Stationen und wollen dann mit dem Bus weiterfahren. Ziel: Der Mont Real. Der Ausblick auf die Stadt. Im Shopping Center (LCMR) ist noch nichts los, die Gesch\u00e4fte \u00f6ffnen erst um elf. Unser Bus soll 15 Minuten sp\u00e4ter fahren und ich suche hier eine Toilette, es ist spooky, so komische G\u00e4nge \ud83d\ude33\u2026 ich \u00fcberhole einen weiblichen Junkie, die sp\u00e4ter am Waschbecken steht. Mit langsamen, fahrigen Bewegungen betrachtet sie ihren Hals, ich denke, die setzt sich jetzt einen Schuss, aber schlimmer: der Hals ist knallrot, \u00fcbers\u00e4t mit ganz dicken, riesengro\u00dfe Beulen\u2026\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab! Ich \u00fcberlege ganz kurz, ob ich H\u00e4nde waschen einmal auslassen soll, aber das kann ich auch nicht. Ganz schneller K\u00f6lscher Wisch und dann nichts wie weg \ud83e\udd22\ud83e\udd22\ud83e\udd22\u00a0 Entdecke aber dann die Selfie Expo! Dann machen wir halt noch eben ein paar Bilder und gehen dann zu Fu\u00df weiter, der Bus ist eh weg. Ich bin ein bisschen \u00fcberfordert, komisch hier, kaum Leute, keine Busse, alles merkw\u00fcrdig leer f\u00fcr eine Gro\u00dfstadt. Ob das noch an Corona liegt? Wir entscheiden, den Berg am Nachmittag erst zu machen. H\u00e4tten sonst nur Gegenlicht gehabt. \u00dcber den Dorchester Square und Place du Canada \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde6 gehen wir zur U-Bahn, Ziel ist die ber\u00fchmte Basilica du Notre-Dame in der Altstadt Montr\u00e9al. Zum Fotografieren steht das Licht \u00e4u\u00dferst ung\u00fcnstig, aber hier geht\u2018s auch mehr um die inneren Werte. Die Schlange ist nicht so besonders lang und wir stellen uns an.\u00a0 Was f\u00fcr eine Pracht! Eine wundersch\u00f6ner Dom!!! Basilique Notre Dame, eine r\u00f6misch-katholische Kirche im neugotischen Stil, zwischen 1824 und 1829 erbaut. Ich m\u00f6chte eine Kerze anz\u00fcnden, aber nicht unbedingt zehn Euro daf\u00fcr ausgeben. Die kleinen Kerzen kosten nur zwei Euro, m\u00fcssen aber bar bezahlt werden, die gro\u00dfen mit Kreditkarte. Bargeld haben wir leider nicht. Eigentlich haben wir gar kein Geld mehr. Stellen wir in der Kirche fest, da wir uns bislang kein Geld auf die Kreditkarte \u00fcberwiesen haben. \ud83d\ude48\ud83d\ude48\ud83d\ude48\ud83d\ude48\ud83d\ude48 Verf\u00fcgbarer Rahmen: 56,13 \u20ac \ud83d\ude40 was soll\u2018s. Nehmen wir eine andere Karte. Ich \u00fcberweise aber schnell Geld, sonst kann ich keine Meilen sammeln. Hier beginnt auch so langsam die historische Altstadt. Ein Weihnachtsladen, Hoho! Ein paar Teile m\u00fcssen einfach mit. Hoho! In der Altstadt zieht mich eine mit viel Halloweendeko geschm\u00fcckte Kneipe an.\u00a0 The Jack\u2019s. H\u00e4lt aber von innen nicht, was sie verspricht, wir trinken was und essen zum ersten Mal Poutine.\u00a0 Im Prinzip Pommes mit ganz vielen Toppings. Optisch ein totaler Reinfall. Geschmacklich\u2026 geht so. Ich brauche das so in der Form nicht noch mal. Danach wollen wir zum Mont Real, dazu m\u00fcssen wir Bus fahren und einmal umsteigen. Beim Umstieg irren wir rum, finden eine Haltestelle in Maps aber nicht im real life. Bleiben dann an einer Stelle stehen, die es sein m\u00fcsste,\u00a0 k\u00f6nnen aber irgendwie den franz\u00f6sischen Zettel nicht lesen. Wir r\u00e4tseln rum\u2026 Und das, was wir lesen k\u00f6nnen, verstehen wir falsch, also muss ich meinen ganzen Mut zusammen nehmen und einen Rastaman auf Franz\u00f6sisch ansprechen. Der war total nett und hat uns gesagt, dass auf dem Zettel steht, dass das hier nur eine Behelfshaltestelle ist und der Bus hier auf jeden Fall h\u00e4lt.\u00a0 Jetzt verstehen wir auch dass es temporaire hei\u00dft. Wenn man es wei\u00df sieht man es auch. Trotzdem stimmt nichtmal meine \u00dcbersetzung von Arret \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 und dann kommt auch der Bus. Wir steigen ein und sofort springt jemand f\u00fcr mich auf und bietet mir seinen Platz an! Woran hattet gelegen fragt man sich???? Am Alter, der Behinderung? Jetzt ist es also weit!! Zusammen mit vielen anderen Menschen machen wir uns dann auf den letzten Weg zum Aussichtspunkt \u00fcber Montreal. Sp\u00e4ter sto\u00dfen wir noch ein paarmal mit diesem jungen Mann aus Indien zusammen und f\u00fchren noch eine nette Unterhaltung mit ihm. Ich bedanke mich nochmal f\u00fcr\u2018s Aufstehen \ud83d\udd96 Und da ist er also, der Ausblick auf Montr\u00e9al\u2026 so viele Bilder habe ich vorher gesehen. Man blickt vom Mont Real \u00fcber die ganze Stadt. Wirklich sch\u00f6n, auch ohne bunte Bl\u00e4tter \ud83c\udf41\u00a0 Und jetzt wieder Familie Einstein: Wir gehen zur\u00fcck zur Bushaltestelle. Wir warten auf die 11. Martin findet aber eine bessere Verbindung, mit der wir durch den ganzen Park fahren und dann mit der Orangen U-Bahn Linie zur\u00fcck in die Altstadt kommen. Ich will aber erst nicht, Martin versteht die Welt nicht mehr und ich bin genervt. Wir gehen also auf die andere Stra\u00dfenseite und warten wieder. Dann kommt die 11 und wir steigen ein. Wir fahren und fahren, und Martin sagt irgendwann: wir sind falsch. Und will auch am liebsten sofort aussteigen, mitten in einem Gebiet was aussieht wie die Bronx. Aber ohne mich. Ich habe gesagt, wir bleiben jetzt hier drin sitzen und fahren wieder mit zur\u00fcck. Frage den Busfahrer, er antwortet keine Silbe!!!! Nehme ich als jetzt einfach mal als Zustimmung. Und so landen wir dann schlie\u00dflich endlich an der richtigen Haltestelle, inmitten einer gesch\u00e4ftigen Einkaufsstra\u00dfe mit vielen Lokalen und vielen bunten Murals an der Wand. Wir steigen hier aus und um. Wieder 1000 Stufen runter zur U-Bahn, ich kann nicht mehr \u2639\ufe0f. Beim Ausstieg nehmen wir den Aufzug! Und doch sind es wieder viele Stufen \ud83e\ude9c um zur Altstadt zu kommen. Wir sind zur besten Sonnenuntergangszeit dort und m\u00f6chten mit dem Riesenrad im alten Hafen fahren.\u00a0Und was f\u00fcr ein Sonnenuntergang! Drei Runden haben wir Zeit f\u00fcr diesen \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigenden Abschluss des Tages. Dann gehen wir noch was essen, im Bevo, Italienisch. Pizza und Pasta vom Feinsten! Sehr lecker. Ich kann allerdings nicht mehr zur\u00fcck zum Hotel laufen, f\u00fcr mich gibt es heute nur noch Uber. Ich brauch erst mal ein paar Ibos. Nach zw\u00f6lf Tagen im Auto sitzen bin ich einfach v\u00f6llig fertig, mir tut der R\u00fccken ohne Ende weh.
