Nicht schlimm, so sehe ich diesen wunderbaren Sonnenaufgang. Ich bearbeite alle bisherigen Bilder und lade sie in die iCloud. Dorthin laufen wir durch die noch leeren Stra\u00dfen. Wunderbar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auf dem Weg kommen wir ja bei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dominiqueanselny.com\">Dominique Ansel <\/a>vorbei. Und auch wenn der Hype seinen H\u00f6hepunkt l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberschritten hat &#8211; heute stelle ich mich f\u00fcr Cronuts an. Die Schlange geht nur bis zur n\u00e4chsten Stra\u00dfe. Jedoch dauert es noch 20 min bis zur \u00d6ffnung und es gibt ein Veto von Martin. Er hat Hunger und wird dann unberechenbar&#8230;. ich muss mich f\u00fcgen und weitergehen. Es gibt sowohl heat advisories als auch Warnungen vor sehr schlechter Luft in Soho. Ich greife vor: Stimmt. Es wird sogar sehr hei\u00df.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aber zun\u00e4chst erleben wir ein wunderbares Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck in dem kleinen Hinterhof von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mamannyc.com\">Maman<\/a>. Der Manager ist Franzose aus S\u00fcdmarseille, und es gibt franz\u00f6sischsprachige G\u00e4ste. Es ist angenehm k\u00fchl und man vergisst f\u00f6rmlich, dass man in New York ist. Das Essen und die Location ist instagramw\u00fcrdig. Man kann nicht nur essen dort, sondern auch shoppen. Ich glaube hier k\u00f6nnte man auch im Winter in sch\u00f6ner Atmosph\u00e4re speisen. 72 $ kostet uns das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck incl. href=\"http:\/\/newyorkcityfeelings.com\/kobra-street-art-murals-in-new-york-city\/\">Kobra<\/a> im East Village, das den jungen und den sp\u00e4ten Michael Jackson zeigt. Leider gab es ein Missverst\u00e4ndnis \u00fcber die Location und wir befinden uns pl\u00f6tzlich wieder in der N\u00e4he der Bowery Meat Company &#8211; das ist aber nicht richtig \u2026 also kehren wir erstmal ins Rosie\u2019s ein, ein mexikanisches Restaurant, gef\u00e4llt mir. Ich belasse es beim Eiswasser, Martin trinkt Cucumber Lemonade, ich probiere: ist lecker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit dem Bus wollen wir zum Mural fahren, leider fahren 2 Busse an der Haltestelle an uns vorbei. Wir f\u00fchlen uns ein wenig verarscht und laufen weiter. Dadurch bekomme ich endlich meine Wassermelone von einem kleinen Supermarkt, ich war schon auf Totalentzug, geht gar nicht. So gest\u00e4rkt suchen wir weiter und werden f\u00fcndig. An der corner 11th \/1st Ave.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Mural ist riesig gro\u00df und gef\u00e4llt uns sehr. Gezeigt werden 2 Gesichtsh\u00e4lften von einmal dem jungen und einmal dem \u00e4lteren Michael Jackson. Es ist vom Street Artist Eduardo Kobra, dem hat New York ja schon einige tolle Wandgem\u00e4lde zu verdanken. Auf der gegen\u00fcberliegenden Stra\u00dfe gibt es noch zwei andere wunderbare Murals: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/blog\/graffiti-mastermind-shepard-fairey-just-unveiled-a-new-mural-in-nyc-082517\">Blondie<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnainfo.com\/new-york\/20160930\/east-village\/shepard-fairey-mural-rise-above-first-avenue-east-11th-street-schnitz\/\">Rise Above<\/a>, beide von Shepard Fairey. Weiterhin sehenswert ist Venieros Pistaccheria, gegr\u00fcndet in 1884 und bis heute in Familienbesitz. W\u00fcrde ich gerne mal abends fotografieren. Schaut toll aus. Sehr retro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein weiterer wundersch\u00f6ner Schriftzug wird irgendwann verschwinden &#8211; Das <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2014\/11\/24\/7275649\/after-110-years-of-cannoli-and-coffee-on-1st-avenue-de-robertis-caffe\">De Roberti\u2019s Coffee <\/a>(Pastry Shoppe). Nach 110 Jahren wurde das Caf\u00e9 geschlossen und das Haus f\u00fcr 12 Millionen $ verkauft. Das alte New York verschwindet immer mehr. Traurig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00dcberhaupt &#8211; das East Village im Bereich der 1st Avenue ist sehr murallastig und <em>noch <\/em>sehr authentisch. So intensiv haben wir diese Ecke noch nie besucht. der Subway bis zur 103. Stra\u00dfe und laufen westw\u00e4rts durch uns unbekannte Gegenden und erklimmen die einzige Steigung Manhattans. Wir sind froh, als wir am <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcny.org\">Museum of the City of New York<\/a> ankommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Museum ist heute recht voll, mittags will keiner drau\u00dfen bleiben.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Ausstellung von Stanley Kubrick \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooph.com\/magazine\/features\/projects\/detail\/article\/through-a-different-lens-stanley-kubrick-photographs.html\">Through a different lens<\/a>\u201c interessierte mich im Vorfeld am allermeisten und die ausgestellten Werke sind alle, ohne Ausnahme, sehr interessant. Ein ganz toller Fotograf. Wir schauen auch alle weiteren Ausstellungen an, aber die mochte ich am meisten. Hier werde ich zweimal f\u00fcr mein sch\u00f6nes Kleid gelobt. Was mich freut, da es selbstgen\u00e4ht ist und ich es eigentlich total verhunzt habe \ud83d\udc57\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffd\u200d\u2640\ufe0f. Scheint aber au\u00dfer mir keiner zu merken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Cafe gibt es einen kleinen Snack, Martin w\u00e4hlt einen Cupcake mit dem Namen Morning Glory HAHAHA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich kaufe am Ausgang noch ein paar sch\u00f6ne Souvenirs, da sie hier auch Sachen von Fish\u2019s Eddy verkaufen. Canal Street wieder ausspuckt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unser Hotel hat eine Sky Terrace &#8211; die Bar d\u2019Eau &#8211; sowie einen kleinen Pool. An unserem letzten Tag m\u00fcssen wir unbedingt noch einmal hin. Aber es ist wirklich voll und das Wasser im Pool wirkt doch leicht milchig. Unsere sky terrace im Hudson gef\u00e4llt uns besser. Wir trinken dennoch einen Cocktail, aber es ist einfach so hei\u00df heute und wir \u00fcberlegen wo wir unseren letzten Abend verbringen wollen. Wir entscheiden uns f\u00fcr den Battery Park. wundersch\u00f6nen Sonnenuntergang, eine unglaubliche blaue Stunde und nat\u00fcrlich auch Essen und Trinken. F\u00fcr mich gibt es Salat mit Putenbrust und ein leckeres Bier und f\u00fcr Martin Pulled Pork Rolls und einen Hamburger mit einem Berg von French Fries. Keine High Cuisine, aber das Ambiente macht es wett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir verlassen in der Mutter aller blauen Stunden das Pier A &#8211; und jetzt endlich kommt die Prismenleuchtkraft der Kunstinstallation vor dem Lokal so richtig zum Vorschein. Als Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckslocation haben wir uns Maman in Soho ausgesucht. Dorthin laufen wir durch die noch leeren Stra\u00dfen. Wunderbar.&nbsp; Auf dem Weg kommen wir ja bei Dominique Ansel vorbei. Und auch wenn der Hype seinen H\u00f6hepunkt l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberschritten hat &#8211; heute stelle ich mich f\u00fcr Cronuts an. Die Schlange geht nur bis zur n\u00e4chsten Stra\u00dfe. Jedoch dauert es noch 20 min bis zur \u00d6ffnung und es gibt ein Veto von Martin. Er hat Hunger und wird dann unberechenbar&#8230;. ich muss mich f\u00fcgen und weitergehen. Wieder keinen erwischt \ud83d\ude2d Die menschenleeren Stra\u00dfen finden wir total sch\u00f6n, die Stadt geh\u00f6rt uns! Daher gibt es nun ein paar Impressionen aus Soho: Heute wird der hei\u00dfeste Tag des bisherigen Urlaubs. Es gibt sowohl heat advisories als auch Warnungen vor sehr schlechter Luft in Soho. Ich greife vor: Stimmt. Es wird sogar sehr hei\u00df. Aber zun\u00e4chst erleben wir ein wunderbares Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck in dem kleinen Hinterhof von Maman. Der Manager ist Franzose aus S\u00fcdmarseille, und es gibt franz\u00f6sischsprachige G\u00e4ste. Es ist angenehm k\u00fchl und man vergisst f\u00f6rmlich, dass man in New York ist. Das Essen und die Location ist instagramw\u00fcrdig. Man kann nicht nur essen dort, sondern auch shoppen. Ich glaube hier k\u00f6nnte man auch im Winter in sch\u00f6ner Atmosph\u00e4re speisen. 72 $ kostet uns das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck incl. Aperol Summer Spritz. Unser n\u00e4chstes Ziel ist das ganz neue Mural von Kobra im East Village, das den jungen und den sp\u00e4ten Michael Jackson zeigt. Leider gab es ein Missverst\u00e4ndnis \u00fcber die Location und wir befinden uns pl\u00f6tzlich wieder in der N\u00e4he der Bowery Meat Company &#8211; das ist aber nicht richtig \u2026 also kehren wir erstmal ins Rosie\u2019s ein, ein mexikanisches Restaurant, gef\u00e4llt mir. Ich belasse es beim Eiswasser, Martin trinkt Cucumber Lemonade, ich probiere: ist lecker. Mit dem Bus wollen wir zum Mural fahren, leider fahren 2 Busse an der Haltestelle an uns vorbei. Wir f\u00fchlen uns ein wenig verarscht und laufen weiter. Dadurch bekomme ich endlich meine Wassermelone von einem kleinen Supermarkt, ich war schon auf Totalentzug, geht gar nicht. So gest\u00e4rkt suchen wir weiter und werden f\u00fcndig. An der corner 11th \/1st Ave.&nbsp; Das Mural ist riesig gro\u00df und gef\u00e4llt uns sehr. Gezeigt werden 2 Gesichtsh\u00e4lften von einmal dem jungen und einmal dem \u00e4lteren Michael Jackson. Es ist vom Street Artist Eduardo Kobra, dem hat New York ja schon einige tolle Wandgem\u00e4lde zu verdanken. Auf der gegen\u00fcberliegenden Stra\u00dfe gibt es noch zwei andere wunderbare Murals: Blondie und Rise Above, beide von Shepard Fairey. Weiterhin sehenswert ist Venieros Pistaccheria, gegr\u00fcndet in 1884 und bis heute in Familienbesitz. W\u00fcrde ich gerne mal abends fotografieren. Schaut toll aus. Sehr retro. Ein weiterer wundersch\u00f6ner Schriftzug wird irgendwann verschwinden &#8211; Das De Roberti\u2019s Coffee (Pastry Shoppe). Nach 110 Jahren wurde das Caf\u00e9 geschlossen und das Haus f\u00fcr 12 Millionen $ verkauft. Das alte New York verschwindet immer mehr. Traurig. \u00dcberhaupt &#8211; das East Village im Bereich der 1st Avenue ist sehr murallastig und noch sehr authentisch. So intensiv haben wir diese Ecke noch nie besucht. Das wurde aber auch Zeit. Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Mittagshitze heute wollen wir im Museum of the City of New York verbringen, dazu fahren wir mit der Subway bis zur 103. Stra\u00dfe und laufen westw\u00e4rts durch uns unbekannte Gegenden und erklimmen die einzige Steigung Manhattans. Ein geplatzter Hydrant wird von einem Fahrzeug als Carwash benutzt, der Fahrer f\u00e4hrt erst weiter als jemand hinter ihm nicht mehr warten will und hupt. Martin ist begeistert, dass wir mit der Upper West Side eine Gegend erkunden, die wir noch nicht kennen.&nbsp; Es ist wirklich irre hei\u00df heute. Wir sind froh, als wir am Museum of the City of New York ankommen. Das Museum ist heute recht voll, mittags will keiner drau\u00dfen bleiben.&nbsp; Die Ausstellung von Stanley Kubrick \u201eThrough a different lens\u201c interessierte mich im Vorfeld am allermeisten und die ausgestellten Werke sind alle, ohne Ausnahme, sehr interessant. Ein ganz toller Fotograf. Wir schauen auch alle weiteren Ausstellungen an, aber die mochte ich am meisten. Hier werde ich zweimal f\u00fcr mein sch\u00f6nes Kleid gelobt. Was mich freut, da es selbstgen\u00e4ht ist und ich es eigentlich total verhunzt habe \ud83d\udc57\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffd\u200d\u2640\ufe0f. Scheint aber au\u00dfer mir keiner zu merken. Im Cafe gibt es einen kleinen Snack, Martin w\u00e4hlt einen Cupcake mit dem Namen Morning Glory HAHAHA. Ich kaufe am Ausgang noch ein paar sch\u00f6ne Souvenirs, da sie hier auch Sachen von Fish\u2019s Eddy verkaufen. Erst wollte ich wieder nicht, da ich keine Lust hatte die Sachen zu tragen, aber nochmal kommen wir hier nicht so schnell hin. Mit dem Bus M20 fahren wir &#8211; endlich &#8211; durch den Central Park zur n\u00e4chsten U-Bahn, die uns an der Canal Street wieder ausspuckt. Unser Hotel hat eine Sky Terrace &#8211; die Bar d\u2019Eau &#8211; sowie einen kleinen Pool. An unserem letzten Tag m\u00fcssen wir unbedingt noch einmal hin. Aber es ist wirklich voll und das Wasser im Pool wirkt doch leicht milchig. Unsere sky terrace im Hudson gef\u00e4llt uns besser. Wir trinken dennoch einen Cocktail, aber es ist einfach so hei\u00df heute und wir \u00fcberlegen wo wir unseren letzten Abend verbringen wollen. Wir entscheiden uns f\u00fcr den Battery Park. Die Atmosph\u00e4re zum Sonnenuntergang ist dort irgendwie einzigartig. Also ab in die Subway. Am South Pier steigen wir aus und gehen r\u00fcber zum Pier A.&nbsp; Wo beim letzten Mal noch die \u201eCool Globus\u201c Ausstellung war gibt es jetzt \u201cSunrise, Sunset (Revolution)\u201d by Autumn Ewalt &amp; Dharmesh Patel in Partnerschaft mit dem Battery City Park Authority. Eine \u00f6ffentliche, interaktive Kunstausstellung. 27 Aluminiumw\u00e4nde, best\u00fcckt mit 9000 Kristallprismen, die durch das nat\u00fcrliche Licht aktiviert werden.&nbsp; Das Licht der untergehenden Sonne spiegelt sich wundersch\u00f6n in den Alupanels wider. Aber so wirklich richtig komme ich mit der Installation nicht klar. Meine Prismen leuchten einfach nicht. :) Noch nicht \u2026&nbsp; Wir ergattern einen Tisch im Au\u00dfenbereich des Pier A und genie\u00dfen im Laufe des Abends einen wundersch\u00f6nen Sonnenuntergang, eine unglaubliche blaue Stunde und nat\u00fcrlich auch Essen und Trinken. F\u00fcr mich gibt es Salat mit Putenbrust und ein leckeres Bier und f\u00fcr Martin Pulled Pork Rolls und einen Hamburger mit einem Berg von French Fries. Keine High Cuisine, aber das Ambiente macht es wett. Wir verlassen in der Mutter aller blauen Stunden das Pier A &#8211; und jetzt endlich kommt die Prismenleuchtkraft der Kunstinstallation vor dem Lokal so richtig zum Vorschein.
