Motorhome, Rig/RV, Camper – Wohnmobil, Camper, Van

Full Hook Up – Man hat auf seiner Site alle Ver- und Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten. Strom, Wasser, Abwasser. Auf diesen Plätzen ist eine Navy Shower nicht unbedingt nötig.

Boondocking – Freistehen

Boondocking is camping off-grid. Your RV is self-contained, which means you don’t plug your RV into water, electricity, or other hook-ups.

Though boondocking is used as a broad term, it most accurately refers to camping out on land somewhere, where permitted (like federally owned land out West). It’s a style of camping where you are really away from people and out in nature

Wallydocking/Lotdocking – Bei Walmart auf dem Parkplatz nächtigen (ev. auch bei anderen Märkten möglich). Wenn man bei Hannaford nächtigt heißt das aber immer noch Wallydocking und nicht Hannadocking. Nur damit ihr Bescheid wisst!

Wallydocking is parking overnight in a Walmart parking lot. It’s a popular option when you’re looking for free overnight camping.

Entsorgung für Grauwasser und Schwarzwasser sowie (hoffentlich) auch Frischwasser

Und always good to know: Auf keinen Fall eine umgedrehte Ananas vor den Camper hängen!!! Ansonsten war’s das mit der Nachtruhe und umtriebige Pärchen verlangen Einlass. Gleiches gilt auch für Flamingos. Da wird’s dann eng für mich.
